With over 42 years of legal experience, Michael Green brings exceptional breadth and depth to estate planning, elder law, and financial counseling. A graduate of Michigan State University (BA) and Detroit College of Law, now Michigan State University College of Law (JD, 1983), Mike was admitted to the Michigan Bar in June 1984.

Mike holds professional licenses in securities, insurance, and real estate, along with certifications in elder law and estate planning through the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education. This unique combination of credentials allows him to provide truly comprehensive guidance on the intersection of legal and financial planning.

His professional career has spanned 30+ years as a lawyer, administrator, and financial consultant across both public and private sectors. In public service, Mike worked in the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of Michigan government, including the privilege of working for two governors. He created innovative programs impacting supply chain management, education, and affordable housing, and served as vice-president of a statewide trade association.

Committed to community service, Mike has served on several nonprofit boards relating to social services, housing, and education, bringing his expertise to organizations that strengthen Michigan communities.

Mike is blessed with three adult children and six grandchildren. Among his many interests, he fly-fishes, reads, plays tennis and golf, and most importantly, loves spending time with family while helping individuals and families put their financial and estate planning needs in order.
